I must be the only man alive that takes four months to paint one room.
Yes, the lighting of random wet splotches makes that corner look horrendously bowed, but its actually pretty true and plumb. In my last rental, our floor was 1.5" out of level, and the bathroom wall was 2" out of plumb. It was like living in a personal hell.

My dad took three years to build a kitchen when I was growing up, so don’t feel too bad.

It took four weeks for me to put wallpaper on my walls and paint them and it looks like shit:(

Don’t feel bad. We still have four large paint splotches in varying shades of blue on one beige wall. My wife still can’t decide which one she wants. It’s been years since they were put there.

I started re painting a tiny room... three years ago. It’s technically done but not properly.

The guy who bought the house next door to my dad’s 20 years ago, put masking tape on some of the outside windows to paint them right after he moved in. The last of the tape finally fell off three or four years ago.
